Job description and duties:

  • Design and implement computer and information networks, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks.
  • Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning.
  • Leads the design of network and computer security measures.
  • Charged with research and recommendations affecting network and data communications hardware and software.
  • Evaluate, develop, and deliver technical input to the systems engineering process.
  • Develop technical documentation, system architecture, and system design documentation.
  • Interact with the Government regarding systems engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts.
  • Oversee the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
  • Work with other program personnel such as engineers, developers, and testers.
  • Communicate with Government and other mission partners.
  • Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
  • Analyze complex information and independently takes appropriate actions to resolve problems.
  • Provide engineering guidance to technical staff and establishes effective working relationships with other Government agencies and mission partners.
  • Deliver briefings on complex topics to groups, which may include high-level decision makers.
  • Work complex research projects as senior contributors and as part of an integrated research team.
  • Design and deliver solution.

Qualifications:

  • ​​​​​​Possess an Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and Counterintelligence Polygraph
  • Minimum of 20 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in System Engineering or related discipline
  • Exposure to Cloud/AWS
  • Knowledge of DoD Architecture Framework (DODAF)
  • Able to build systems from the ground up – network architecture/systems engineering
  • Active CISSP, CASP+CE, CSSLP certification (minimum DoD 8570 IASAE Level II Certification)
