Description

Duties:

  • Design strategies for enterprise database systems and set standards for operations, programming, and security.
  • Design and construct large relational databases.
  • Integrate new systems with existing warehouse structure and refine system performance and functionality.
  • Demonstrate applicable knowledge or experience in a technical field with a familiarity of practices and concepts in cybersecurity, SIGINT, systems engineering, telecommunications, data management, data processing, and/or data engineering.
  • Implement registry updates.
  • Configure Niagara Files (NiFi) processor/processor groups.
  • Route, transform and enrich ad-hoc dataflows; Manage NiFi clusters.
  • Reverse Engineer customer dataflows and troubleshoot.
  • Respond to customer inquiries.
  • Advise customers on strategies to transport, store and manage data.
  • Comply with data governance, data security and compliance policies more efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess current Counterintelligence Polygraph and Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Must possess minimum five (5) years of experience with data flow/management plus minimum 5 years in IT systems engineering and/or administration.
  • Must possess at least bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
  • Must possess any of the following qualifying DoD 8570 IAT Level II certifications: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP.
Desired skills/knowledge:
  • Experience with the following: Kibana and Elasticsearch (ELK stack); writing Bash/Python scripts to automate routine tasks; modern programming language such as Python or Java; understanding of the analytical and data point challenges across the J-Codes; using Ubuntu Linux or CentOS to ssh, navigate, move files, find/filter file contents, and troubleshoot application logs; understanding of Nifi flow file attributes, dataflow processes, and system-to-system connections; FileZilla and Pressurewave; data formats such as XML, JSON, CSV, XLSX, PCAP, etc.
  • Ability to decompose technical problems and troubleshoot system and dataflow issues.
  • Strong Experience using the Niagara Files canvas to develop, configure, monitor data provenance and processor status, and troubleshoot complex dataflows.
  • Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Experience with Corporate data security and compliance procedures and policies.
  • Understanding of System Engineering principles.
